Kuch Kuch Hota Hai: Kuch Kuch Hota Hai tells the story of two close friends at college, male Rahul and tomboy-ish female Anjali. Anjali is in love with Rahul, but he has eyes only for Tina. Years later, before Rahul's wife dies, she leaves letters asking her daughter to play matchmaker for Rahul and Anjali.
Great song from a very entertaining bollywood movie that is a bit too sappy at the end. Never thought I would buy a bollywood movie on DVD but I did with this one. Rahul Khanna and Anjali Sharma were best friends at college. Anjali realizes that she has fallen for Rahul but she's too late because Rahul has already fallen for Tina Malhotra.
Heartbroken, Anjali leaves the city. Tina and Rahul get married and soon Tina becomes pregnant, giving birth to a daughter which they call Anjali. Due to complications during pregnancy, Tina passes away. Anjali is brought up by her father, and each year on her birthday he allows his daughter to read one of her mother's letters.
